Aldi Just Leaked Info on Dozens of New Grocery Items, and We’re Absolutely Buying These 5
May is here, and we are finally starting to feel the beginnings of summer fun. Memorial Day is right around the corner, and with the warmer weather comes more picnics, backyard barbecues with all the fixins, and the most epic pool parties. The folks at Aldi must be reading our minds.
The beloved discount retailer gave us a sneak peek at the latest batch of Aldi Finds hitting shelves this month. It’s packed with outdoor eats, chill desserts, refreshing cans of bubbly, and more. Of the dozens of items popping up in stores, these are the five we’re most excited about.
1. Fremont Fish Market Hickory Bourbon BBQ Atlantic Salmon, $3.99
These marinated salmon fillets are so air-fryer ready, they come with their own tray. How’s that for an easy dinner? Serve alongside some roasted asparagus or your favorite salad (we’ve got dozens to choose from), and dinner is sorted. They also come in a Honey Mustard flavor, too, if barbecue isn’t your thing. Both hit shelves May 1.
2. Kirkwood Southern Style Crispy Chicken, $8.99
Few things rival a glistening drumstick. While freshly fried chicken will always reign supreme, this box of breasts, drumsticks, and thighs is certainly giving the drive-thrus a run for their money. Find it in the freezer section on May 22.
3. Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Hot Honey Turkey Sausage and Peppers Chickpea Crust Pizza, $6.99
Mama Cozzi’s is at it again. This time the popular pizza brand is adding not one, but two gluten-free pies to the mix. Starting May 8, both flavors — turkey sausage and peppers and three cheeses — are made with a chickpea crust and topped with the spicy-sweet hot honey. Find them in the freezer section.
4. Nature’s Nectar Watermelon Sparkling Juice Beverage, $3.49
What’s a party without drinks? Available May 15 in three summer fruit flavors (watermelon, strawberry, and pineapple), these sparkling juice drinks come in packs of four. Sip these straight from the can or pour over ice and stir with your alcohol of choice.
5. Sundae Shoppe Vanilla Stroopwafel Ice Cream Sandwiches, $4.99
They’re baaaaaack. The fan-favorite ice cream sandwiches, hitting freezer cases May 8, combine the best of both worlds: delicious dulce de leche-filled stroopwafels and rich and creamy vanilla ice cream. We highly recommend setting a reminder now.
